The chief executive of think-tank Centre for Cities has criticised the idea of mayoral strategic authorities without significant cities within them.

During a session at The MJ's Future Forum event in Hertfordshire, Andrew Carter questioned what strategic authorities for areas such as Norfolk and Suffolk would ‘be doing every day'.
