London borough housing company to close

A council-owned company created in response to London’s homelessness crisis has announced it will close at the end of the year.

A council-owned company created in response to London's homelessness crisis has announced it will close at the end of the year.

Capital Letters, which was set up in 2018 to increase the supply of rented accommodation for homeless families in London and drive down costs for member councils by removing ‘unproductive competition', cited rising rental prices and a challenging financial climate for its demise.
