Scotland's largest local authority has attacked the annual settlement offered to the country's councils.

Scotland's largest local authority has attacked the annual settlement offered to the country's councils by Holyrood finance secretary, John Swinney.

Glasgow City Council warned it would need to find an additional £13m in savings next year – above and beyond £48m already earmarked for the authority – following the finance minister's Budget statement on 21September.
