Treasury ministers should use the forthcoming Autumn Statement to ‘smooth the path' towards greater integration of health and social care, according to London Councils.

The capital's representative body for local authorities today presented a package of ‘integration asks' to the Government, with many designed to close the projected £600m gap in social care funding by 2020.
