The social care funding crisis jumped straight to the top of the new Government’s agenda this week after official figures revealed soaring rates of ‘bed-blocking’.

The social care funding crisis jumped straight to the top of the new Government's agenda this week after official figures revealed soaring rates of ‘bed-blocking'.

Just 24 hours after the General Election result, figures released by NHS England highlighted record levels of delayed transfers of care (DToCs) attributable to social care.
