HCA announces first wave of affordable housing contracts

The Homes and Communities Agency awards first round of affordable homes contracts to housing associations across England.

The Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) has released details of the first round of affordable homes contracts awarded to housing associations across England.

Orwell Housing Association will receive an HCA grant allocation of £13,952,500 to build a total of 770 homes -710 of which will be made available for affordable rent purposes. Town & Country housing are set to receive £22,386,143 funding to build 1,280 homes - 1033 of which will be set at affordable rents.
