Historic studios set for starring role as LEP loans £2m for expansion

The historic council-owned Elstree Studios - host to award-winning productions such as The King's Speech - is set for a £4.5m boost under plans to expand the site.

Studios owner, Hertsmere BC, has accepted a £2m loan from the Hertsmere Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) Growing Places Fund to help kick-start the new investment.
