Jones steps up to lead commissioner at Slough

Local government secretary Michael Gove has appointed Gavin Jones as the new lead commissioner at Slough Council.

Local government secretary Michael Gove has appointed Gavin Jones as the new lead commissioner at Slough Council.

Mr Jones, chief executive at Essex CC, steps up from the wider intervention team at Slough to replace Max Caller, who retired from the lead commissioner's role last month.
