Kent poised to follow 'Wiltshire model'

Kent CC is expected to make an announcement on the future of its management structure later today.

Kent CC is expected to make an announcement on the future of its management structure later today – with some sources suggesting the flagship Conservative county could follow Wiltshire's lead in axing its most senior post.

Kent's leader, Cllr Paul Carter, is expected to reveal the authority's future management blueprint on 8 December. The county's current managing director is Katherine Kerswell.
