Labour sends in local government improvement boards

The Labour Party has mimicked the Local Government Association’s (LGA) peer review process by establishing improvement boards to boost grassroots political campaigns, sources have told The MJ.

The Labour Party has mimicked the Local Government Association's (LGA) peer review process by establishing improvement boards to boost grassroots political campaigns, sources have told The MJ.

Senior party sources said that more than a dozen campaign improvement boards (CIBs) have been bombed into struggling Labour offices - or those in marginal areas - tasked with boosting the party's chances of winning upcoming elections.
