Listen well and speak frankly

Don’t just deliver a line. Tackle tough questions head-on, says Mark Fletcher-Brown and open up an honest dialogue with your team and the communities you serve.

Anyone taking you through a media training session will probably want you to go in to an interview with three key messages. And, you will pipe those out irrespective of what you are asked, by pivoting from the question you have been asked to the one you want to answer.

It is a technique which ensures you get your point across to your audience no matter what; no interview is a wasted journey.
