One of the UK’s longest-serving chief executives, Barry Quirk, has announced he will retire after 45 years in local government.

One of the UK's longest-serving chief executives, Barry Quirk, has announced he will retire after 45 years in local government.

Currently chief executive of Kensington and Chelsea RLBC, Dr Quirk took up the post in the aftermath of the Grenfell Tower tragedy nearly five years ago.
