While looking at articles for my final research paper I was given something I thought quite relevant. It was written by Bruce Katz and Julie Wagner and is entitled The Rise of Innovation Districts.
The paper looks at the shift in innovation geographies, known as districts, across the US. It argues over the past 50 years innovation has been dominated by isolated places like Silicon Valley, accessible only by car, with little emphasis on quality of life or integration of work, housing and recreation.
