Manchester City Council is to create its own development company in a bid to meet ambitious housing targets.

Manchester City Council is to create its own development company in a bid to meet ambitious housing targets.

Officers have estimated a council-managed company could deliver around 1,800 affordable homes, alongside more than 1,000 homes for market sale and rent.
