Middlesbrough heads English councils at risk

Middlesbrough is now the local authority with the greatest health risk in England from coronavirus, according to the Centre for Progressive Policy’s (CPP) COVID-19 Health Index.

The latest version of the risk rating shows the North East is the region which has seen large rises in cases during April, combined with a high level of underlying vulnerability. Middlesbrough is revealed as the riskiest place over the last three weeks.
