Ministers have refused requests for a capitalisation direction at Tandridge DC as they said efforts to bolster the council’s finances were working.

Ministers have refused requests for a capitalisation direction at Tandridge DC as they said efforts to bolster the council's finances were working.

In a letter sent to Tandridge DC chief executive David Ford, the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) revealed the Surrey-based district's request for ‘exceptional financial support' for 2023-24 had been declined.
