Newham LBC has promised a ‘relationship reset' following claims a ‘culture of mistrust' had developed between senior politicians and officers.

In their response to a March peer review led by the Local Government Association, Newham's chief executive Abi Gbago and mayor Rokhsana Fiaz detailed their action plan to tackle governance concerns.
