The chief executive of Norfolk CC, David White, has proposed making himself redundant as part of the authority's ongoing reform plan.

In a letter sent to colleagues on 10 December, Mr White reveals that an early proposal from his ongoing review of the council's functions will be to overhaul the skills set required for the most senior management post at the county hall.
