Prime minister Theresa May will today give the go-ahead for the creation of the north of Tyne combined authority.

Prime minister Theresa May will today give the go-ahead for the creation of the north of Tyne combined authority.

During a visit to the north-east, Ms May will formally announce plans for the latest devolution deal to be laid before Parliament.
