North Yorkshire County Council - Corporate Director of Health and Adult Serivces

Salary Circa £120k, Northallerton

North Yorkshire County Council is pursuing ambitious plans for transformation. We face challenges balancing the need to make large-scale efficiencies with our plans for modernisation and growing demand for our services.

We are looking for a delivery oriented and performance focused professional to lead our health and adult services. You will drive service transformation and the implementation of a new operating model. Integration with health care is a key part of our model in a particularly complex health and care economy.

As a corporate Director you will also contribute to and significantly influence the management and direction of the council as a whole. The right person will have excellent partnership working skills, combined with the ability to think strategically and see transformational change right though to implementation.

You will probably already be working at a senior level, ideally within a large complex organisation and have a detailed understanding of health and adult social care. We are looking for someone with a clear vision for the future, a passion and energy for significant challenges, and a strong track record of delivering sustainable change.

Closing date: 12 November 2013 Interview dates: 4 and 5 December 2013.
