The number of businesses backing the Northern Powerhouse project continues to soar, with eight new firms the latest to throw their support behind the initiative.

Law firm Eversheds and multinational property business Colliers International are among the latest companies to become Northern Powerhouse partners – having committed to create jobs and secure investment in the north. Other firms to sign up to the initiative include Hyper Island and the Newcastle Gateshead Initiative.
