Ofsted reveals children's services improvements

The number of councils providing excellent children's services has increased, Ofsted has announced.

The number of councils providing excellent children's services has increased, Ofsted has announced.

But the watchdog's annual assessment of local authorities' performance in delivering children's services also shows there are still large variations in quality.
