We're now a better organisation

Lawrence Conway says Lakeland DC's transformation programme Customer Connect has resulted in a better organisation, 'with a future and vision we all share and all work towards'.

I gave the first of my regular staff briefings last week. It was a great opportunity to meet as many colleagues as possible over a wide geography – 1,553km (600sq miles), to ensure all the key messages are delivered and understood.

Brexit was obviously on the list of topics. Our role as public servants is to ensure we are as prepared as we can be to help those most in need, and the vulnerable, whatever the outcomes may be.
