'Othering' is the most troubling aspect of the tragic case of Awaab Ishak

Too often it takes a tragedy to cast a light on institutional blind spots or systemic failings.

The tragic case of Awaab Ishak is the latest in a long line of avoidable deaths and serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of listening to our customers (or those who otherwise use our services), taking their concerns seriously, and acting on what they say.
