Cllr David Parsons has resigned as leader of Leicestershire CC following a rebellion by his local Conservative group.

Cllr David Parsons has resigned as leader of Leicestershire CC following a rebellion by his local Conservative group.

Leicestershire's Tory councillors met with Cllr Parsons today to discuss his stewardship of the authority following long-running concerns over his expenses related to his position at the European Committee of the Regions.
