It's fair to say that being a coastal borough with such a mixed economy and demographics as Great Yarmouth brings its share of both challenges and huge opportunities.

Last month I wrote about the safely resolved drama after the discovery of an unexploded Second World War bomb in the town. This was then swiftly followed by weather which forced us into emergency action a few miles up the coast at Hemsby.
