New poll reveals little confidence in local economies

Less than one in ten (9 per cent) of Britons expect their local economy to be stronger in six months time, according to new research by Ipsos Mori.

Less than one in ten (9 per cent) of Britons expect their local economy to be stronger in six months time, according to new research by Ipsos Mori.

The pollsters published research conducted across 24 countries on 29 August , which indicated that only residents of France are less optimistic about their local economy than the British.
