'More should be done' to promote Olympics legacy

Culture secretary Jeremy Hunt has admitted the Government could do more to improve local sports facilities.

Culture secretary Jeremy Hunt has admitted the Government could do more to improve local sports facilities and ensure Great Britain's extraordinary Olympic success inspires the next generation of youngsters.

Mr Hunt described school sports provision across the country as ‘patchy', following calls to improve investment in facilities and equipment.
