A regulator has again been asked to intervene in a long-running battle to get the Government to explain how it allocated £300m of transitional grant.

Nottingham City Council deputy leader, Cllr Graham Chapman, has lodged a fresh objection with the Information Commissioner's Office over how long it has taken the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) to respond to a Freedom of Information request.
