Disabled workers at Remploy factories will hold a series of demonstrations this week.

Disabled workers at Remploy factories will hold a series of demonstrations this week, designed to halt the planned closure of 36 of the company's 54 sites.

Hundreds of disabled staff will demonstrate outside the offices of the department responsible for the decision, the Department for Work and Pensions, in London on 20 April. Protestors will also descend on the DWP's offices in Sheffield on the same day.
