Great Yarmouth was unwittingly thrust into the national spotlight a few weeks ago after the discovery of a 250kg unexploded Second World War bomb during river dredging work close to the site of a new bridge in the town.

It prompted a very testing episode as multiple agencies joined together to co-ordinate a response that would ensure the incident was dealt with safely and quickly.
