Social care charging reforms are drastically underfunded

The Government is expected to delay the introduction of social care charging reforms but Simon Edwards says the even more important issue is the period after their implementation.

At the time of writing, there is increasing speculation that the introduction of social care charging reforms will be delayed.

If the new Government does decide to postpone them we understand why some delegates at the National Children and Adult Services Conference this week would be disappointed.
