A Somerset MP has urged the county council to find £2.4m from existing coffers to settle a two-year dispute over SEN funding.

A Somerset MP has urged the county council to find £2.4m from existing coffers to settle a two-year dispute over SEN funding.

Ian Liddell-Grainger, Conservative MP for Bridgwater and West Somerset, told The MJ that the figure was an ‘achievable sum to find', even during Covid-era finances, ‘to ensure that education services for some of the most vulnerable children are maintained'.
