Spurs win right to review Newham Olympic deal

Newham LBC’s planned joint venture with West Ham United FC to manage the Olympic Stadium after the 2012 Games will face a judicial review.

Newham LBC's planned joint venture with West Ham United FC to manage the Olympic Stadium after the 2012 Games will face a judicial review, after a rival football club won a legal right to challenge the plan.

Tottenham Hotspur FC won the right to challenge the Newham-West Ham joint venture plan in the High Court on 24 August. Spurs, and their partners in the legal challenge, Leyton Orient FC, will now be handed the opportunity to argue their case in court in October.
