Senior managers at Tower Hamlets LBC have vowed to tackle its ‘two council' culture and encourage political representation among women amid sector concerns.

The Local Government Association will publish its corporate peer challenge review of the east London borough, one again led by directly elected mayor Lutfur Rahman, on 15 December.
