Union advises city council intervention

Unite is urging Liverpool City Council to take action over the administration of social housing contractor Kinetics.

Workers'union Unite is urging Liverpool City Council to take action as the administration of social housing contractor Kinetics Group puts 273 jobs at risk.

Well known business difficulties saw the transfer of the Kinetics Group workforce to client Liverpool Mutual Homes in July, but yesterday's decision to call in administrators has prompted Unite to persuade the council to do everything in their power to ensure LMH takes on employment responsibilities.
