Unions to intensify pension opposition at TUC

Local government trade unions will intensify their opposition to Treasury-backed public pension reforms at the Trades Union Congress this week.

Local government trade unions will intensify their opposition to Treasury-backed public pension reforms at the Trades Union Congress this week.

Unison , the GMB and Unite – the three biggest unions representing council staff – could announce potential ballots for industrial action over pension changes when the TUC agenda shifts to pension reforms on Wednesday.
