Unison Scotland in strike ballot

Scotland’s largest local government trade union is to ballot its members over possible strike action after rejecting the latest pay offer from town halls.

Scotland's largest local government trade union is to ballot its members over possible strike action after rejecting the latest pay offer from town halls.

More than three quarters of Unison Scotland members who voted in a recent consultative ballot opted to reject employers' 1% pay offer.
