As we begin to recover from the COVID pandemic, I am pleased to report the borough enjoyed a bumper summer season, with people in the UK choosing to enjoy ‘staycations' rather than holidaying abroad.

Whereas the summer has been positive for our economy, we are keen to extend the traditional tourism season into the autumn and winter months and have worked with partners to plan a programme of events, trails and activities to attract visitors during this time.
