The Welsh Government is ‘deeply disappointed’ that UK ministers have delayed reforms to the deprivation of liberty regime.

The Welsh Government is ‘deeply disappointed' that UK ministers have delayed reforms to the deprivation of liberty regime.

Ministers intend to replace the deprivation of liberty safeguards (DoLS) regime with liberty protection safeguards (LPS), which would give NHS bodies greater oversight of cases in healthcare settings.
