Chief executive of Tameside MBC, Sandra Stewart, has announced she is to stand down following a withering assessment of its children’s services.

Chief executive of Tameside MBC, Sandra Stewart, has announced she is to stand down following a withering assessment of its children's services.

Stewart has been at the council for 30 years, and was appointed chief executive on a permanent basis in 2022.
