A finance watchdog has said Dundee City Council is ‘well-run' but ‘long-standing difficulties remain' to be tackled in its improvement journey.

The Accounts Commission's report, published today, found ‘effective leadership, good financial management and engagement with communities' at Dundee, but there were ‘long-standing issues' to resolve.
