Councils' cyber security requires ‘meaningful improvement' as many town halls are at critical risk of an attack, fresh research has revealed.

A recent study by the local government-led Cyber Centre of Excellence (CCE), seen by The MJ, revealed councils were exposed to threats such as hacking and ransomware.
