The Government has been warned the success of its ‘remediation acceleration plan' for unsafe cladding will require long-term funding for enforcement.

Due to be published today, the plan is designed to speed up the removal of unsafe Grenfell-style cladding from buildings with target dates and ‘significantly tougher' penalties for refusing to act.
