Housden to step down from Scottish Government

Permanent secretary to the Scottish Government, Sir Peter Housden, has announced he will leave office at the end of June – but says he will not reveal his plans for the future until he steps down.

Permanent secretary to the Scottish Government, Sir Peter Housden, has announced he will leave office at the end of June – but says he will not reveal his plans for the future until he steps down.

Sir Peter was previously permanent secretary at the Department for Communities and Local Government, and is a former chief executive of Nottinghamshire CC.
