Concerns over capacity to support refugees in the coming months have been raised by the Local Government Association (LGA).

The LGA's Director of Policy Sally Burlington, told yesterday's executive advisory board meeting: ‘Overall, the system is working OK' but that fears remain over the summer months with more refugees arriving and the initial six-month commitment period for sponsors starting to come to an end in the autumn.
