A minister has been forced to apologise for misleading MPs over the rollout of Universal Credit (UC).

A minister has been forced to apologise for misleading MPs over the rollout of Universal Credit (UC).

Work and pensions minister Ether McVey's apology to the Commons was prompted by an open letter written ‘reluctantly' by the National Audit Office (NAO)'s head, Sir Amyas Morse.
