The Government hopes savings will offset the costs of reorganisation, local government minister Jim McMahon has suggested.

The Housing, Communities and Local Government Committee raised concerns this morning about the impact of reorganisation on the sector's fragile finances and asked McMahon what support his ministry would provide.
