A Government-commissioned review has raised questions over the sustainability of supported housing services amid increasing demand and a shortfall of supply.

The report by academics at Sheffield Hallam University found ‘significant long-term challenges in sustaining the current supply of supported housing as well as numerous barriers in developing new provision'.
