Dear Simon Clarke, I am very much aware that the new Government has a lot on its plate, but could I ask you to do one simple thing to show that you do want an adult-to-adult relationship with local government?

Please retrieve from the long grass, to which it has been booted by your predecessors, the issue of remote and hybrid council meetings.
